*this is an older one I wrote but there is always room for tweaking it once in a while right?! :)

Relationship

~*GIRL*~
I might have cared
But that’s over now
You need to move on
Though, you don’t know how
Your persistent calls
Leave me no choice
But to hang up
At the sound of your voice
You walk in my house
Without me knowing
Like a home you own
Always coming and going
I feel unsafe
Always we fight
Once you are gone
I may feel alright
Mom thought I was anemic
Though now the bruises cease
Eventually, I will fix myself
Slowly piece by piece
Having another man
Making me smile once again
You cannot let that happen
To you that’d be a sin
I cannot wait
To graduate high school
Leave you here behind
That would be so cool
I am 17
You 21
What other reasons do you need
For our relationship to be done
My friends hate you
Your friends dislike me
Even though you want to
We would never be
I do not think you realize
The hate for you I feel
For once I follow my head
Because I know the feelings are real
So please grow up
And move on
Because my feelings
Are forever gone

Once you love someone
You just can’t let go
I know you still love me
Even though you say no
You know I call
Just to say hi
But every time I call
You just say goodbye
If I am not happy
Neither are you
I’ll do anything in my power
You know that is true
You are nothing but a tease
And a slut I must say
You know I like it more
When you disobey
Now I can’t hang around my buds
Because you are always there
You know I can never fake
Acting as if I don’t care
I know I cause drama
When I see you with a man
Because I do not closure
Without you I can’t stand
Do you realize
I love you
You can’t make that go away
There is nothing more you can do
I have to make you see
Eventually you will realize
That we are meant to be
