The feelings of worthlessness surround you
The eyes of the judgemental ones
Burning your back
You don't know what he has said
or for that matter
What she has said
Realizing decisions you have made
Really will effect your future
What future? you ask
Sometimes 'future' is a nonexistent word
Your battling a never ending war
A war in all actuality is within
But at this point-
It is taken place with the girl across the table.
you love him-- you really really love him
But yet you have only spoken in art class.
Yet, even only known him for a week.
Sex...
Ever asked a girl if they felt they should have waited longer?
Once they get a little more mature that is
Most will say yes... most that is.
Expression is done in so many ways
Whether destructive
Or progressive
Is it always a good thing?
I want to be able to help others
Help my daughter too (someday)
Come to the realization
There is indeed life after highschool.
Unless you are from a small town (jokes)
But being strong
Feeling worthy
Can there be a class on this please?
I mean I needed it
Shit still need it.
But just remember
Someday looking back...
You will either cry or laugh
But that is your decision
And only yours...

*Don't let anyone take that power away from you.*
