Random Poem

Dark as the winter sky
I lie on my bed and cry
Cry about the world today
Wish it would all go away

People look and stare
People laugh and glare
People point their fingers
Oh how the pain still lingers

I wonder what life would be like
If I just stood up and won the fight
Just as the soldiers from the war
I hope it ends forever more

pensivegentleman: cool cool cool, the beginning reminds me of the song flint by sufjan stevens. i like the similie at the end. overall it seems to be a nice little poem about melancholia.
