Random Poem

I could have sworn I was hallucinating
Sitting in a cold sweat, heart palpitating
Yours was the only convincing voice I heard
And without any assurance I fell face first

In a pool of ecstasy, you got me drowning
Head buried, hands free, heart still pounding
I'm swimming in your deep sea, can't breathe
But it's okay cus I got you, and you've got me

Deep into the night you hear me tossing and turning
Racing through my mind each memory is burning
I just cant get over everything we do
I don't sleep through a whole night thinking about you

And when all that's through and I begin to wake
All thoughts of you rumble my being like an earthquake
But its okay, I don't want it to stop, I never do
You're changing my life, changing my thoughts and my views

Things are so much better, times are really changing
Getting things straight, doing some mental rearranging
I really needed this, and now I really need you
I'm so sure of this, and I think you might be too

And even though I'm not assured I can still rest
Because rest assured I've got the best
And I never thought I'd feel secure
Without the security of being rest assured
